How to categorize leads and contacts
Understanding Mojo's Record Organization System
Mojo organizes your contacts into three distinct categories that guide leads through your sales pipeline:
Properties List
- Houses unqualified real estate-specific data including:
- Expired and Off Market leads
- FSBOs and FRBOs
- Pre-Foreclosure listings
- Automatically filters records into sublists based on listing status
- Records move between sublists as their statuses change
- Note: Only visible to real estate users receiving data from vendors like Mojo, Vulcan 7, Redx, MyPlusLeads, or Landvoice
Calling Lists
- Contains general unqualified leads from various sources:
- Excel file imports
- Neighborhood Search tool results
- Cold call list providers (Coles, Telelisting, etc.)
- Serves as the initial repository for non-real estate specific contacts
Groups
- Designed for qualified contacts and existing relationships:
- People you've spoken with
- Past clients
- Sphere of influence contacts
- When moved to a Group, records are removed from their original Properties List or Calling List
- Records can move between different Groups as they progress through qualification
- Mojo provides several premade Groups:
- Appointment Set
- Hot Lead
- Not Interested
- Trash
- Custom Groups can be created in the Data & Dialer section
This organizational structure helps you effectively manage contacts at different stages of your lead generation and follow-up process.
