What is the Difference Between Lists and Groups
Understanding Mojo's Lead Management System: Lists vs. Groups
Mojo's workflow is built around a clear distinction between calling lists and groups to efficiently manage your leads.
Core Concepts
- Calling Lists: Contain new, uncontacted leads/properties/contacts
- Groups: Used for categorizing qualified contacts or those with existing relationships
How the Workflow Functions
- New leads start in Calling Lists
- Once contact is made, move leads to appropriate Groups
- Default power dialing flow:
- Property Calling List → Groups (Hot Lead, Dead Lead, etc.)
- Calling Lists → Groups (Hot Lead, Dead Lead, etc.)
- Groups → Groups (Moving between existing groups)
Real-World Applications
Expired Listings Management
- New expired listings automatically populate your Properties calling list daily
- Call and qualify these leads
- Sort them into appropriate groups based on timing and interest
- Example: Leads planning to re-list in late summer go to "Late Summer" group
Geographic Prospecting
- Create calling lists for specific neighborhoods (e.g., West Side)
- Call through the list and categorize based on urgency
- Leads moving in 90 days → "Warm Lead" group
- Leads moving in 30 days → "Hot Lead" group
Sphere of Influence (SOI) Management
- Import SOI contacts into a specific group
- Keep SOI data separate from other lead data
- After contact, leads remain in the SOI group with updated notes
- Schedule regular quarterly calls to maintain relationships
Customization
- No limits on group creation
- Create as many groups as needed based on:
- Urgency
- Timeframe
- Months
- Years
- Other categories
