Creating Email Templates in Mojo
Why Create an Email Template?
Email templates save you valuable time by eliminating repetitive writing tasks for frequently sent messages. With templates, you can:
- Send emails to contacts in seconds
- Leverage Mojo's automated emailing features:
- Auto Send
- Action Plan Drip
- Birthday messages
- Appointment confirmations
Creating a Template from Scratch
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Email from the left menu
- Choose Templates (second option)
- Click New Template
- Select Create from Scratch
Setting Up Your Template
- Label: Enter a name for internal reference within Mojo
- Subject: Create your email subject line
- Add optional subject tags to auto-fill contact information
- Optional elements:
- Add attachments
- Enter CC or BCC recipients
Building Your Email Content
- Start with the default paragraph block
- Click on "I'm a new Text block ready for your content" to access the text editing toolbar
- Personalize your email with Merge Tags that automatically populate with contact information
Customizing Layout and Design
- Rows tab: Choose different layout configurations
- Content tab: Drag and drop content blocks including:
- Title
- Paragraph
- Lists
- Image
- Button
- Divider
- Social Links
- HTML
- Video
- Email Signature (automatically added at the bottom)
- Adjust individual content block properties as needed
- Use the Settings tab to modify:
- Content area width
- Alignment
- Background color
- Default font
Finishing Up
- Preview your template's display
- Send a test email to verify appearance
- Click Save to make the template available for use
Creating a Template Using AI
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Email from the left menu
- Choose Templates (second option)
- Click New Template
- Select Create With AI
- In the provided box, describe what you want the AI to write about
- Example: "Write an email regarding the housing market in San Diego"
- Click the play button to generate your email
- Use AI shortcuts to refine the tone (more casual/more formal)
- Click Save to access the email editor for final adjustments
- Make any additional edits and click Save again to finalize
